ISSUES - CASE STudy
Bushfires are becoming widely prevalent on earth. Unfortunately, the growth of spread surpasses
dramatically that of firemen. Consequently, they are overwhelmed and cannot promptly react to the
situation. Therefore, bushfires often get out of control, burn the forests, kill the flora and fauna and force
the relocation of families.
An autonomous fire-extinguishing network could spread across rural or inaccessible areas such as forests
in Siberia. This autonomy would support firemen to combat against bushfires more efficiently. Eventually,
bushfires would be extinguished effectively before reaching a critical stage, and our society would never
have to put at risk the life of humans and animals again.
